Plasterboard is the building material in which plaster, gypsum and other additives are mixed together to form a paste and applied to building. Plasterboard has many advantages such as easy recycling and long life. It can be used by anyone who wants to produce a wall or set of walls.
Flexibility:
Plasterboard is flexible in terms of design and can be used as a neutral base for a variety of materials such as concrete and metal. Plasterboard is also suitable for use in architectural fashions which require flexibility. Plasterboard can be installed horizontally or vertically, but is best laid horizontally so that it does not stick out from the surface. Plasterboard panels are almost always faced with painted or unfinished wood veneer (often laminated) which protects them against moisture, dust, mold and mildew while giving them an attractive look. In addition to being eco-friendly, this product can be recycled and reused to make new products such as mousetraps or other durable objects.
Variety:
Plasterboard has been used for more than 100 years in a variety of applications including wall cladding, flooring (such as tiles), ceiling panels, roofs (such as tiled roofs), ceiling tiles etc., but rarely outside of its original application range mainly due to its high cost. This product covers a wide range of raw materials from cheap plastic sheets up to luxury woods such as teak from Indonesia or maple from Canada making it suitable for any type of building use. Plasterboards are available in different thicknesses ranging from 1mm – 20mm depending on the type of material being applied (such as concrete/concrete mix). The thickness depends on the weight and flexibility required for the material being applied such as concrete being laid over wooden veneer where a thinner 1mm panel would result in less weight loss and greater protection against moisture etc., while thicker 10mm panel would result in greater weight loss compared with thinner 1mm panel thus allowing the roofing tiles weighing up to 200kg per square meter to be laid over wooden veneer where a thinner 10mm panel would result in less weight loss thus allowing heavier roofing tiles weighing up to 200kg per square meter bale weighing up to 600kg per square meter to be laid over wooden veneer where a thicker 10mm panel would result in more weight loss thus allowing heavier roofing tiles weighing up to 600kg per square meter bale weighing
Plasterboard’s Benefits
Plasterboard is a low-viscosity, high-temperature, natural mineral based product which can be 100% recycled. Helps construction industry by reducing weight of buildings, reducing cost and makes it easier to separate rooms and offices.
