How To Apply An Access Panel ?
Firstly, the application of the access panel is as simple as you can imagine ! That’s why, we highly suggest you to follow our steps and realize your own installations. Step 1: Measuring And Drawing The Framework
First of all, take a et square (triangle). Then, start by measuring the panel frame on the wall or the ceiling where you want to in stall the opening. After that, by using a pen, be sure to draw the frame.
Step 2: Cutting Out The Marking
Secondly, take your keyhole saw. Thus, cut out the marking that you have previously established.
Step 3: Placing The Frame
After that, make sure to place the panel frame in the location you want to place it. The edges and angles must be inside the wall or false ceiling.
Step 4: Screwing The Frame
Here, get yourself screws and a drill. In fact, we have to screw the frame. For that, we have to make sure that the framing is well fixed.
Step 5: Applying The Joint Compound
The joint between the frame and the plaster will be covered. Therefore, you will need to apply a plasterboard plaster. Good news ! We have all you need ! For example, you can use one of our joint compounds for an easy and clean application.
Step 6: Installing The Access Panel
Finally, make sure the joint compound is completely dry. By this way, you can install the panel on the hinges.
